Being a Londoners for 3 weeks

I love being a Londoners, first i was so scared i mean living in really crowded city like London you must have a big courage. Travelling around with public transportations like buses, tubes, trains well that happen in London.

I stayed in London for 3 weeks, i took a short course in fashion business at the Instituto Marangoni. I took this short course because i already have my own clothing business i want it to understand more about the business behind fashion.

I was such an great course, from 10am till 4pm i learned so many things. So many new things. Not just new knowledge from the lecturer but also, i have more understanding how fashion works (not the glamour part), i also visited some fashion exhibition in London (blown away with it!)

Beside the learning from school part, i tried to explore more about London. I went to some new places and tried some London f&b like cupcakes, best fish and chips and bubble tea. The weather was so hot, one of the day of my 3 weeks being Londoners was the hottest day in London.

So here are the re-cap pictures of my 3 weeks being a Londoners, i'd love to do it again . Hopefully!

From London with adventure

"By seeing London, I have seen as much of life as the world can show" -Samuel Johnson

It is just a 4 days and 3 nights trip with my mum, and we killed it! After a week adjustment in Leeds, Mum and I went to London to do the id check to the Indonesian Embassy and just traveling around London :) It was a great trip, just me and mum we did so many things there and we went to many places.

In 2005, i visited London for the first time with my family but this time only me and my mum. Since my first visit there are lots of changes in London, but the feel is still the same. I always see London as a traditional and modern city. Where else you can find that kind of city, you can understand part of history from London, you can find the modern building, many historical places inside the city, touring london by tube, get to see London from the London eye, seeing the Queen's jewelry and crown; you can see all of this in London.

This trip also the first tube trip of my mum and I, and she loved it so much (part of running around catching the tube). It was so nice to have this trip, and thank you mama for accompany me this time!
i love you and  i miss you, i'll go home soon :)

Counting Down...

Two months until i move to a big country full of its history, tradition, accent (i really want to have it!). Moving into a big country, alone... there'll be another new journey for me to reach my dreams...
Dreams is something that you have to make it real, it's just comes from your heart, your soul. Keep on believe it and work hard for it. I believe in my dreams, i have many dreams, i have faith in it, keep faith in HIM that someday that dreams will come true...

"A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true"

Heroes

"A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself - Joseph Campbell"

Every year on the 10th of November, in Surabaya where i live. We always celebrate the 'Heroes Day' every year the city held the 'Heroes Carnival'. Many people participate in this carnival from student (primary until senior high school) until the army. The people of Surabaya also very excited about this carnival, many of them wasted their weekend time just to watch the carnival. But it's was a great event to watch, from the carnival we can learn the history of Surabaya. How the Surabaya's youth commanded by Bung Tomo, the fought for their city over the Netherlands.

Happy Sunday folks!
