Being a Londoners for 3 weeks

I love being a Londoners, first i was so scared i mean living in really crowded city like London you must have a big courage. Travelling around with public transportations like buses, tubes, trains well that happen in London.

I stayed in London for 3 weeks, i took a short course in fashion business at the Instituto Marangoni. I took this short course because i already have my own clothing business i want it to understand more about the business behind fashion.

I was such an great course, from 10am till 4pm i learned so many things. So many new things. Not just new knowledge from the lecturer but also, i have more understanding how fashion works (not the glamour part), i also visited some fashion exhibition in London (blown away with it!)

Beside the learning from school part, i tried to explore more about London. I went to some new places and tried some London f&b like cupcakes, best fish and chips and bubble tea. The weather was so hot, one of the day of my 3 weeks being Londoners was the hottest day in London.

So here are the re-cap pictures of my 3 weeks being a Londoners, i'd love to do it again . Hopefully!

What I Eat ? Chicken Soup

Since i moved to Leeds, where i live now for the next 1 year ahead i found my new hobby... cooking. Yes, cooking is my new hobby because as an abroad student i have to survive (not wasting money fro extravagant foods) so i decided to cook.

Well, i'm not a very good chef but at least foods that i cooked all are my favourite. Today i will show you how to make my own Chicken Soup with a help from indofood soup herbs :) (i tried my own, mixed my herbs and i failed)

So, first what you need to do is prepare. What you need are:
  • Chicken (fillet, drumstick, tights)
  • Vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cabbages)
  • Water
  • Olive oil (or any oil)
  • Indofood Soup Herbs
  • Salt and pepper

Yes, to cook a chicken soup you need CHICKEN (of course, duh!) hihhiii, anyways. Usually i use fillet chicken because it is easy to cut and you don;t need to worry with the bones. Because i just arrived from outside the town (visiting my boyfriend), i rushed into the supermarket and get the cheapest chicken (it was 1 pound, and it was a drumstick, #lifeasanaboardstudent #anakrantau) and also set of vegetables (contain: carrots, broccoli, cabbage).

Then, fill half of the pan with water and add 2 spoon of oil (i used olive oil). Turn on the stove and waited till it boiled. Put the chicken into the pan and waited for 3 minutes till it cooked, then added the vegetables into the pan and leave it for 1 minutes.

Teared out the Indofood Soup herbs and put half of it into the pan, mixed it and wait for about 3 minutes. Then tasted it and if you need to add salt and pepper, please do add. i'd loved to add pepper to make it more delicious :)

Vegiies!

Lots of chicken (i love chicken)

Half pan of water and 2 spoon of olive oil

Indofood magic soup herbs

Chicken cooked

Add veggies

This recipe and this food is one of my favourite. When i eat chicken soup i always remember my home and my mum because she love to cook this chicken soup for me but without the instant herbs ( i need to get short lesson with her when i go home)

ps: i'm so sorry i forgot to take picture after the soup finished, i ate it because i was so starving :)

Bon Appetit !

What you see is not always what you see

It is already the middle of the year, time run so fast... I can't believe that i've been in this country for almost 6 months and enjoying every corner of it.
School done, i mean for my 1st semester. How did it go? honestly, it went well. i got some problems and i'm trying to fix it and hopefully i'll do much better next semester. A lot of people say that studying aboard is easy as peeling a potato, but you know the reality is not that.
Studying aboard is hard, the realty is that we have to face everything alone (i mean gotta do all of it by yourself). Far away from family, friends and leaving the comfort zone isn't easy as you see in pictures that i post in my Instagram or other social media. I'm not whining, i'm just telling you that in life we have to challenge ourself to get into the next part of our life. Being in the new place, situation, friends, journey and leaving the comfort zone. These past 6 months i really enjoying every bit of it, when i have a bad day i'm trying to get through it, when i have a great day i'm trying to get through it too. Trying to be more thankful of everything and everyday bless.
So, never judge people or talk about people if you don't really know their life. Try to learn from them (i mean the positive way) and be careful of what you said and what you wish for :)
